Nyikani Migration Camp Kogatende
The Nyikani Migration Camp moves twice a year. From late May to October, the Camp is located in the Northern Serengeti close to the Mara River with easy access to several river crossings in the area that are commonly used by the herds. During this time of year, millions of wildebeest and zebra cross the Mara River back and forth between Tanzania and Kenya. River crossings attract crocodiles and big cats, which are scattered throughout the area.
The five twin and three family tents are spacious and comfortable, with large, comfortable beds, seating and come equipped with handy items such as flashlights, walkie-talkies and whistles. The camp is solar powered and the water in every bathroom with flush toilet and bucket shower is hot and plentiful. Each tent has an outdoor seating area overlooking the sparkling dome of the night sky.
As with any real camp, the heart of this mobile camp is its the campfire.
Enjoy the sheer magnificence of the savannah with nothing but darkness and the flames between you and Africa's finest animals.
