Day 1 – Arrival / Onsea House & Machweo Retreat
Arrival and welcome at JRO airport. Transfer to ONSEA House with dinner, overnight and breakfast.
Onsea House welcomes you a few kilometres from Arusha. In this green oasis you arrive relaxed in Africa. Relax by the pool or in the tastefully decorated rooms. On the terrace of the restaurant you can watch the African sunset with a sundowner before you indulge in a mixture of regional and French cuisine in the restaurant.
Day 2– Tarangire National Park
Departure after breakfast to Tarangire National Park. A good road takes you first through Arusha and then into the park, where the full day safari begins. Picnic Lunch in the open. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Ndovu Camp.
The Tarangire National Park is one of the most beautiful animal reserves in Tanzania.
On an area of 2.600 km² and an average altitude of 1.100 m, some animal species are native that are rarely or not at all observed in other parks in the north of Tanzania. For example the Gerenuk, the small Kudu, Oryx- and Eland antelope and the most rare of all antelopes: the big Kudu.
Late summer and autumn are great times to visit the Tarangire, where many animals can be seen: big cats, giraffes, buffalos and of course elephants, elephants, elephants (sometimes herds of over 200 animals!!!)
Very special in the flora of the Tarangire are the numerous Baobab trees.
Tarangire Ndovu Camp
The camp captivates by its exclusivity. The 12 new tents are centrally located in the Tarangire National Park. Since December 2018, the camp has had permanent status, which has made the conversion into a unique jewel with pool possible. The en-suite bathrooms are equipped with flush toilets and 24-hour hot water. Solar power is also available to guests around the clock. Luxuriously and stylishly furnished, the spacious tents, which are also popular during the day, offer a real out-of-Africa feeling. This is culture in the middle of the bush and the African wilderness. The unique blend of adventure and luxury will stay with you forever.
Day 3 – Ngila Coffee Estate
Drive to Karatu, visit Ngila Coffee Estate, and have lunch at Gibbs Farm. Dinner as well as overnight at the Plantation Lodge. Ngila Coffee Estate is one of the most beautifully situated farms in Tanzania. The farm is more than 100 hectares with 150,000 coffee trees, that yields more than 120 tons of the best Arabica highland coffee. In addition, animals from the protected area of Ngorongoro regularly roam the farm. The property is owned by the Meyer family, who continue to improve the quality of the coffee with great love for the environment and the product. This not only largely focuses on chemistry, but instead builds on the self-healing powers of an intact nature. Thus uses a particular water-saving method in the further processing of ripe beans. Ngila also specializes in very unusual coffee variations, such as Golden Honey and Barrique Coffee, which meet the demands of quality-conscious roasters and coffee lovers. You can personally convince yourself of this during the subsequent coffee tasting.
The afternoon is for leisure to relax by the pool.

Day 4 – Lake Manyara National Park
Drive to Manyara National Park, full day safari with picnic lunch in the park, as well as
Dinner and overnight at the Plantation lodge again.
Although it’s one of the smallest parks in northern Tanzania, Manyara National Park offers a wide variety of animal species including
Lions, elephants, giraffes and buffalos... in a beautiful landscape surrounded by the Rift Valley and Lake Manyara with its thousands of flamingo’s and other birds.
Day 5 – Ngorongoro Crater
Today’s safari is dedicated to the discovery of the famous
Ngorongoro crater. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the open. Dinner & overnight at Lake Masek Tented Camp.
The land of the Big Five: Buffalo, Elephant, Leopard, Lion and Rhino.
The Ngorongoro crater on the edge of the Serengeti was created by the collapse of a volcanic mountain. The crater floor is 1.700 meters above sea level and has a diameter of about 20 km. On an area of 26.400 ha is found an almost incredible wealth of animal life, perfectly protected by crater walls up to 600 meters high. Bernhard Grzimek and his son Michael are buried on the edge of this probably most famous animal reserve in the world. In 2010, this natural amphitheatre became a world cultural heritage site.
Lake Masek Tented Camp
The camp is situated away from the usual tourist route, directly on the shore of Lake Masek. From December to April each year the huge migratory herds stop here to drop off their young. Also during the remaining months the area is home to the "Big Five" and many other wild animals. The 20 spacious en-suite safari tents, each equipped with king-size or twin beds and built on platforms above the ground, are nicely decorated and offer the greatest possible comfort in the middle of the bush with private verandas and spacious bathrooms.
The camp has a magnificent pool with spectacular views of Lake Masek. A spacious lounge area and a small library are located in the cozy main tent. At dusk, the campfire offers pure African coffee with breathtaking sounds of the wildlife.
Tag 6&7 – 2 day safari in the Serengeti
Picnic lunch dinner and overnight in Siringit Camp.
This huge park (14 000 km2) has the highest concentration of wildcats in the world. The Serengeti comprises very different biomes: the savannah with its wide grass-covered plains in the south, the wooded hilly landscape in the west, the Kopjes - sometimes also called "island mountains" - in the east and the bush savannah in the north. The area is also a river that attracts a wide variety of fauna throughout the year (buffalos, giraffes, antelopes, cats). It is also a habitat for crocodiles and hippos.
Siringit Serengeti Camp
The Siringit Serengeti Camp, which received its first guests in August 2017, is located about six kilometres east of the Seronera Airstrip in the heart of the Serengeti National Park. The camp consists of eight luxury tents, each with a private veranda. Each tent stands on a raised wooden platform and consists of a spacious sleeping area with a lounge area. A private bathroom with wash basin, large shower and separate toilet rounds off each guest tent. Beautifully furnished living and dining tents with covered verandas offering breathtaking views. The Serengeti plains are located in the centre of the camp. Guests can enjoy complete peace and relaxation before and after exciting game drives.
Day 8 – Departure
Transfer to Seronera Airstrip for the flight to Arusha. Lunch in Arusha, transfer to International Airport JRO.
